My mom got her first COVID-19 vaccination!! Absolutely positively no negative side effects. I know I'm preaching to the choir for the like minded, however, her cardiologist, who has literally stopped and restarted her heart, has had the vaccine. But all the arrogant delusion entitled lethal MFers who won't get a vaccine because they read some b.s. on Facebook, especially when they are fortunate to have the opportunity, well, at least made room for my mom to get hers sooner all while they are killing God knows how many people with community spread. Her last visit in the hospital I told 4 different nurses, "no one enters this room who has *refused* a vaccine" For every one who is a reckless, delusional, selfish, in denial and seeks sympathy when they test positive...do they realize they are admitting to spreading COVID-19 to at least 40 people whom they have never met? People who will die, be critically ill, have long term health problems even with mild symptoms. Overwhelming the hospitals so people like my mom had to wait hours in PACU for a room there were so many COVID-19 cases. The pandemic has shed a light on racism in western culture especially in the "woke" performative crowds. I have several theories for CONSPIRITUALITY Qanon The algorithms of the Qanon cult targets all the antivaccers, astrology sites even ascended masters channeling. A friend of mine fell for it because she had been reading those sites for years. Conspirituality fits people who believe they are alternative and compassionate. The trump bots targeted the community. Then a whole new "I never thought I would vote for Trump but Democrats are trafficking and eating children" none of it is new. The blood libel goes back to the middle ages lies of jews abducting torturing children. This was perfected by the Nazis. Today it is rebranded and marketed. The media and Hollywood villains are code for Jewish. I also find an addictive quality. Maybe like Fr. Leo Booth and John Bradshaw spoke about the fundamentalist addiction. When I tried to calmly mention Qanon's roots and it being classified as a domestic terrorist threat, I was attacked the same way an addict being called out on their using. Lastly, wellness practitioners were losing so much money in the pandemic. They rebranded as Qanon and got a new audience, more followers and thus, more revenue on social media. People such as Dr. christine northrup are huge proponents. She was a pioneer in alternative women's health. Her vulnerable fans believed her. It is a deal breaker for me.
