I think q2! Ashswag is a experimentation on mixing blocks with humans instead of animals with humans. I Know it's kind of a simply theory, but with the way the crying obsidian is used in the 2nd thematic, its not a far off theory to assume the Federation was varied with their experiments given the history of animal hybird mixing. However, only this time around, because where still in the context of MINECRAFT something from the crying obsidian is clearly not mixing well with the human body. Causing something that shouldnt exist. "Not fully human." But clearly not an animal either. The fact he can't bleed, isn't effect by radiation, and even with the heart bullshit, the fact he can live without one. A human can't do that. An animal can't do that. But rocks are inanimate. Obsidian can be sharpen into weapons after all. But, are very fragile in nature...
