A QG Style Guide: Fall/Winter Outerwear
Although though it may seem as though Fall hasn’t fully hit us yet it’s best to be prepared when it does. I’m sure most of you are looking forward to the holiday season and all the beautiful holiday festivities. Before you decide to write off fall it’s best to you remember that winter does come once a year so your outerwear game has to be on point. I’ve created a short style guide that is dedicated to helping you find the best outerwear options for the holiday season.
Nothing screams dapper dandy like a classic wool topcoat which can be purchased from plenty of retailers (J.Crew, Top Man, Jackthreads) and if you’re budget conscious you can find a few at H&M for $130. Alpha Industries’ classic MA-1 bomber is another staple piece and a great coat option if you’re the on-the-go type. A classic bomber is nothing short of edgy which is why I included it in my style guide. Create your own heritage look with a sherpa lined trucker jacket. The trucker jacket is a very iconic piece within menswear but more importantly it’s a great transitional piece from fall into winter. Now for the everyday workwear gent I think a work jacket (wool) is a great item to have in your current rotation right now.
