"The LNP was unaware of Mr Moore's history. Now it has come to light the LNP will be putting him last on new how-to-vote cards," the spokesperson said.

At a press conference today, LNP leader David Crisafulli repeated that his party would end compulsory preferential voting if elected. 

"They will be able to vote for who they want to and if there are eight candidates and you want to vote for just one, you should be able to."

But a spokesperson for the Electoral Queensland Commission said a candidate doesn't have to number every box on a how-to-vote card, adding "it is not uncommon for a card to have printed on it, 'Vote 1 for Candidate X, then number every box', without specifying an order".
