On 12th July a group of prominent Australian transphobes are having a rally in Magandjin (Brisbane) to call for changes to the Sex Discrimination Act to exclude trans women.

There is a counter protest being organised by Queer Solidarity Magandjin.

It would be good to see some support from cis allies, especially cis members of the LGBTQIA community.

We've seen the assualts on trans community in the US and UK, even here in Queensland with the state government's ban on gender affirming care for under 18s. The right in Australia are trying to open this up as a battleline here too.

It's time for cis allies to step up.
