Hey! I'm the person that made that post about using the word 'Gypsy.' I'm also half-Roma. The post was born out of frustration with white people especially, as they often fight to be able to use the word 'gypsy' and get pretty nasty about it - at least, this is my experience when calling white people out. Other PoC tend to get the issue. So yes, you're right, nobody should use it, but white people are the ones who get obnoxious about it.
It pisses me off when I hear it, so I can only imagine how you must feel. I've noticed people getting more comfortable with using racial slurs lately, and it's highly upsetting.
