Spoiler Alert- don’t read if you haven’t finished the folk of the air trilogy.

I think the song “Evermore” from the Beauty and the Beast live action perfectly describes Jurdan’s relationship at the end of of wicked king and start of queen of nothing.

Especially when Cardan exiles Jude to the human realm. She doesn’t know that she can pardon herself since she didn’t figure out the loophole behind his plan.

Meanwhile Cardan is a mess. He is distraught. He misses Jude so much and can’t get her out of his mind.

A few lines from the song- credit to the Beauty and the Beast Soundtrack- sung by Dan Stevens.
