If I have to put up with another asshole offering me a “modeling” job because he’s some big shot scout, I'm going to hit a bitch. Real scouts don’t suggest a nude photo shoot or a “business” meeting in a hotel room.

For once in her life, Lyla had no clue what to wear to a party. This one was a big deal. Not only was she getting to meet Kennedy, but it was the fucking Rolling Stone party! She had heard of them plenty of times and they were always epic. So she sucked it up and spent her last few bucks on a nice dress and a decent pair of shoes. She would have to hitch hike to her next destination but hopefully it’d be worth it. Once she was dressed and ready to go, she made her way to Milo’s hotel. She didn’t want him to pick her up and see the piece of crap motel she was staying at. She was already well under their life style, she didn’t want to rub salt in the wound. Once in the main hall, she couldn’t help but stare at all the rich, fancy people that passed by, completely oblivious to her presence. Yeah, peasants would always be peasants.
If Ronnie was mad before, now she was furious. The last thing she wanted to do was see Kyle’s face. So the best thing she could do was not go to the damn party with a frown on her face. But, of course, he had to pull the macho boss card on her and demand her to go, which only made her want to go even less. Instead of getting dressed like he asked, Ronnie took a seat in her very comfortable hotel couch, popped a bottle of vodka and turned up the music to the point she wouldn’t even hear him banging on the door. Yes, she was being childish, but fuck him. He was not barge back into her life after ten years and expect her to nod her head and follow his lead. Those days were over. She would not let herself be played by Kyle Evans anymore. Fuck him and his caveman ways.

Ronnie: I'm not going to tonight's party.
Ronnie: Just so you know.
Ronnie: Tell them I have the flu. Or died.
Most of the night had passed in a blur. The after party was dull, so Thea found herself at the after-after party. That’s where things really kicked up a notch. She remembered the shots, and a couple trips to the bathroom to hide her tiny addiction, but after that it was all blank. There was a loud banging. Constant. Unforgiving. Bang, bang, bang. And it continued until she opened her eyes. The curtains were pulled, the room cast in darkness, but the banging wouldn’t stop. She grumbled, pulled the pillow over her head, but it wouldn’t stop. Tossing the pillow aside, Thea reluctantly climbed out of bed and rubbed her eyes as she dragged her feet to the door to open it in just her bra and underwear. She looked at Leo as she yawned and then turned around to walk back to the bed, leaving the door open for him to walk in behind her. “I was sleeping, thank you very much.”
Awesome. We have a show in a couple hours and our lead singer is nowhere to be found. This is not cool.
After her major failure at the after party, Lyla didn’t waste too much time to clean up her slightly wounded ego. Sure, Kennedy was too interested in some blonde chick that totally looked like the real life version of Barbie and even made her slightly tingly, but fuck that. She wasn’t going to go down without a fight. Not after all the hard work she put into actually getting to that party. The band was resting up for their second gig at that location, which meant the crew only had some minor cleaning up to do. That gave Lyla the perfect opportunity.
As soon as she was fully awake and had some coffee in her (meaning it was probably well past noon), she marched out into the now empty site and put on her best smile the second she found a couple of roadies chatting in a corner. Her approach had their heads turning before she even spoke and the way they eyed her told her it’d be an easy job. “Hey guys. Can I borrow a lighter? I think I lost mine last night. The show was crazy.” Her interpretation of a bubbly fan seemed to work right away and soon enough, she was lighting up a cigarette and hanging out with them. “Say... Think you can sneak me into the show tonight? I’d love to get a closer view. I promise there’ll be a reward...” Leaning back against the wall, she looked at the men through her lashes, teeth nibbling on her lower lip. She had them hooked and she knew it.
It’s been work, work, work for long enough. We have a week off coming up. Who wants to hit up a nude beach and drink Corona’s all day and night?
