Vivienne and Mc stargazing date
Written by Shy Anon
...
"Come on, babe, or we're going to miss it!"
A light laugh escapes my lips as MC literally drags me up to the roof, full of childlike eagerness.
"I'm coming, darling, I'm directly behind you. We aren't going to miss it."
"I hope not or you'll have to deal with my brattiness for a while."
My lips curve into a smirk, but before I can respond, she raises a finger. "And not the way you like it."
Dang.
She giggles at my pout as she opens the roof door with ease and we make it to the long pool chairs just as the first few stars start streaking across the midnight sky.
The glow of the moon it faint, yet, it still predominantly illuminates the active night sky on this warm quiet night.
The Poppy was generous enough to let us steal this special night, instead of stealing another piece of art that we could do on any other day. But stealing a night like this is more rare than any jewel this city or any city has to offer.
Tonight is a celestial date night with the love of my life.
Plopping down in one of the smug chairs, MC, immediately cuddles up to me and drapes a blanket over us. It may be a tight fit, but we wouldn't want it any other way.
"I'm so excited. I haven't seen one of these in ages. Sure, I've been out under meteor showers in New York, but thanks to the smog that roams over the city, it was hard to see."
My lips kiss her dark brow. "Aren't you glad we convinced you to come with us?"
Doe eyes meet mine as she points a pink nailed finger at me. "Number one, you blackmailed me. Number two, yes. I am glad I came." Playfully, I bite and suck on the tip of her finger before releasing her when a blush rises to her cheeks. I smirk.
"I'll never get tired of hearing that."
"Hearing wha-? Oh." Her blush deepens as my smirk grows sharper. "Not what I meant, Vivienne."
"Yes, but your reaction was what I was going for."
I earn a light playful slap to my shoulder. "And a nice stargazing date with my wife is what I was going for tonight, but if you keep being a flirt, we might find ourselves doing other things than stargazing."
I know that I wouldn't mind doing the alternative, but I know that she wanted to see a real life Starry Night and not just the one Van Gogh painted, so, I guess I'll behave for once.
Feigning a defeated sigh, I relax into her embrace. "If you insist, but after this, I'm going to make you see a whole new set of stars in the bedroom."
"Vivienne."
My lips plant a kiss on her head. "Sorry."
A sarcastic "Mhm." leaves her lips.
I'm not sorry and she knows it. She knows me too well.
A light sigh escapes my lips as I kiss her head once more, before an excited gasp comes from her.
"Look! Now the show's really starting!"
Following MC's pointed finger, my eyes land on the star speckled sky. Slowly, but surely, one star shoots across the sky, then another, then another, before they pick up the pace all of a sudden, as if God himself was just flicking them down towards the Earth in rapid succession.
Time seems to stand still all around us for the spectacular light show above us, but I don't really think much about the meteor shower that's presented to us. Sure, it's great, but the true star is in my arms.
Looking down, MC's smile lights up my world much brighter than the brightest star in the whole galaxy. Her happiness contented by just being right here, right now with me under the star-spangled Heavens, is just that, Heaven.
She is my star. My morning sun. My light in the dark. The light of my life. I love her so much and I am so blessed that she chose to be mine. Only mine.
Brown eyes eventually look up at me and catch me stargazing, but not to the ones that we came here to actually watch.
"Vivienne? What are you looking at? The light show is up there."
A low chuckle vibrates my throat before my eyes once again follows her finger upwards to the white streaked sky, but my gaze, rather quickly returns to her.
"Indeed, there is a show going on above us, but the real show is right here in my arms and you're the main star."
The shining stars act like a spotlight as their lights beam down on MC's pink cheeks.
"What did I say about flirting tonight?"
Gently, my hand cups her warm cheek and guides her gaze to me.
"Oh, darling, that wasn't flirting, that was just me confessing to you that you are more breath-taking and precious to me than anything this world has to offer me and that I love you more than every star in the sky."
Her illuminated cheeks darken as her blush deepens. She kisses me softly, but loving, before laying her head over my quick beating heart.
"I love you more. I love you way past the moon and back."
My lips curve softly into a contented smile as I run my fingers through her long dark hair and I feel her smile against me.
Van Gogh, eat your heart out. My star is more gorgeous and priceless that your entire Starry Night and she's all mine.

Vivienneeeeeeeeee. I have absolute normal feelings about her
you know that scene where nadia calls everyone in the house until mc picks up with "hi honey" and nadia says "how's our girlfriend?" in the vivienne route?
yea me neither, totally don't think about it all the time.
Lovestruck helped me in one of my deepest depressions. I was able to read these stories and feel so much better and happier. I was able to forget what was causing me so much sadness. This app and their stories helped me feel the slightest bit represented and it helped me figure out who I was and to be comfortable in it. To celebrate it. So when I saw this announcement, I cried literal actual tears. Thank you to all the writers, the artists, and the programmers who helped make this app what it was and who contributed to making these characters so real to me and others. The fact that I fell so deeply in love with at least five pixel women, while yes embarrassing, is also a testament to these people's talent and skills. Vivienne/Aurora, Helena, Medusa, Nahara, and Xenia's writers might not see this (and I don't want to bother them by tagging them especially when Voltage caused them so much stress) but I want to shout out thank these people in particular. Their stories actually changed my life.
Lord this is a word salad, sorry to the patient people who actually read all of this.
Farewell Poppy, you will be missed...
Vivienne: So apparently the "can't commit" thing is because of my abandonment issues.
Zoe: You...didn't know this?
Vivienne: I'm sorry, what?
Zoe: Nothing...nothing. You do you.
