I'd imagine each stuffie has a name and backstory that are set, and then they also occasionally play roles in his games like they're actors

I always think of my girlfriend when I see horizontal stripes. She almost exclusively shops at thrift stores, so she has so many striped shirts of all colors. They don't always fit her right, but she's always perfect in them.

For the QOTD, Mumbo does, and so does Ex! He doesn't really have any trauma, but he heard of regression from the other hermits and then had to be told after a month that it wasn't the only reason to regress. Mumbo thought it was for people with trauma and simply thought that he couldn't bc no trauma, and Ex had to go over and set him straight

Are you secretly a mind reader? One of my main headcanons for Mumbo is that he feels bad for regressing when it isn't to cope with trauma/not realizing at first that he could regress, too

(QOTD) when Gem regresses to a kid, she likes wearing flowy dresses that poof out when she spins !! but when regressing to a fox, she usually wears tshirts and overalls, since those are harder to trip on :]

I love how common fox Gem seems to be becoming :)

qotd: 1. depending on his age, bdubs will 100% call doc "dad" or beef "baba" 2. stress has called false "mum" on multiple occasions 3. tango will only refer to impulse as dad and when fei involuntarily regresses, there's an immediate "where's my dad?? I want my dad :(" and impulse is over in a HEARTBEAT + as for something on the opposing end, adult keralis calls a really young regressed xb "xbaby" -hypnos

"xbaby" instantly melted my heart, I love that
