Being a QPOC SUCKS
Not only do you have to deal with the queerphobia in your family, your church, your community, you have to deal with the racism in the Queer community. You can’t really date White folk, because they require constant education on racial issues. You can’t date other QPOC because they hate themselves so much and idolize being White and trying to White-wash themselves. And the few QPOC that are woke, are all on Tumblr and live 10,000 miles away..and they’re probably in a relationship and about to get engaged.
It’s hard work being Black and Queer. If CisHet Black men hate themselves enough to hate Black women, imagine how much more self hate Black Queer men are harboring... I get just as much race-based hate from other QPOC as I do from problematic White gays.
