Like sports and movies? Catch these shorts at Al Riwaq Hall today

Day two of the Qatar Sports Film Festival kicks off this afternoon at 4pm at the Al Riwaq Exhibition Hall next to the Museum of Islamic Art.

The event, which started yesterday and concludes tonight, was co-organized by the Youth Company and the Qatar Olympic & Sports Museum.

Some four sports-themed films will be screened today. They are free and open to the public:

4pm: "I Want to Run - The Toughest Race in the World" (Germany, 2011)

6pm: "One Revolution - The Story of Chris Waddell's Journey to the Roof of Africa" (USA, 2010)

7:45pm: "Ginger: More than a Game" (Serbia, 2012)

9.30pm: "Le Mans: Chasing the Dream" (UK, 2007)

The conclusion of the contest portion of the festival took place during last night's opener. There, a documentary produced and directed by Ibrahim Arar on two-time Red Bull Street Style Qatar champion Abdullah Mahmoud Abu Nahia won the top prize, QR10,000.
