She was one of the original Minecraft and general gaming/lets play YouTubers in Brazil, and because of that is often referred to as the mother of the Brazilian Minecraft content.
She published a book in 2016 titled Fala aí, Malena! - O Livro dos Bunitos.
Malena is a lesbian.
In 2019, she won the Gamer of the Year award from Meus Prêmios Nick, the Brazilian Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
She originally started making YouTube videos in 2009.
