I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT SKATING SEASON I CAN’T EVEN TELL YOU.
But where it’s at is....men’s. Seriously. Most interesting discipline to me.

I have always wanted to throw a drink in a man's face. It just always seemed so magical - it's aggressive yet classy, which is something to aspire to. I mean, when I pictured it in my head I was always wearing some fancy cocktail dress on like a 1940's black and white movie set and it was a martini glass - but what I did was maybe better. Yesterday, my friend Erin and I went to Quad Fest, it's the first event of the school year where you eat food and drink copious amounts of free beer - and drink I did. My ex showed up, despite the fact that he graduated the previous winter ("he doesn't even go here"). He hung around drinking for a few hours and then eventually walked over to try and talk to me even though we're not on good terms and have not spoken since we broke up (like two weeks ago). He came up to me with this cocky smile and was all "Now you have to talk to me". If there's one piece of life advice I can give you for dealing with drunk me, it's never tell drunk me to do something because I'll automatically do the opposite. Since my travel mug was empty, I immediately turned around and grabbed Erin's beer out of her hand and then threw it on his face - it was just as life fulfilling as I always thought it would be. There was a whole crowd of people sitting on the grass behind us that got to witness the event too, it was great. I didn't stick around to see his reaction (though Erin claims he looked like he just got out of a pool and kind of just stood there blinking the beer out of his eyes) and went immediately back to the beer tent to get more beer, where a bunch of my friends congratulated me and gave me high-fives, it was awesome.
