12. Does/did your oc ever wish they could change the way they are? Why? If it's in the past, how did they get over the feeling? (this can be about internalized homo/transphobia) jori never struggled with her bisexuality but has struggled with her asexuality in the past, feeling like she wouldn't really make a good partner for anyone. like sex is something she just never really cared about or had a desire to participate in. she stayed out of the dating game for a while until she got about in her 20s and basically stopped caring. she learned, through mika, that she shouldnt force a mindset on herself that is only going to harm her. mika has never really struggled with his sexuality or identity. he's questioned himself and experimented but he's pretty confident with who he is. helping jori through her struggles helped cement his own confidence and also helped him stay strong and be there for her.

20. Have your ocs helped you in self discovery? How? idk if i ever mentioned it anywhere but ive always thought that, while jori does identify and a woman, she doesnt really care what pronouns people use for her or how she's perceived. eventually i also discovered i didnt care about what gender others perceived me as either. like ive responded to basically anything anyone has called me. i used to have a friend who knew i identify as a woman but a lot of the times he'd use male pronouns for me and i just didnt mind at all. then one day my best friend and i were talking about our gender identities and i discovered she feels the same exact way as i do and we learned that there's a word for it! it's apagender and i think this article explains it quite well if youre interested in reading about it!

I hadn't actually done this before for Val, and I tried to answer as her. Not sure how I feel about it but I don't hate it? Okay maybe the more I look at it, the better it fits. (ISFJ)
