I was really hungry at work but sadly I forgot my leftover curry at home, so I had to eat my office snacks instead. This package of cookies did last for a month but I also shared it with my colleagues. It would be better to eat real food, but if not possible, I also eat a snack instead of a meal sometimes (so it's not meal + snack, but meal OR snack) -> weight management.
Today I asked my dad if he could do some research for me to lease an electric car, but all he did was research to buy an electric car, although I told him 3 times that I wanted to lease! (because I probably won't need that car longer than 1-3 years and I already own a car). And of course he only sends suggestions I couldn't afford without investing 1/2 of my savings (but he could afford them easily).
He won't listen and tries to force me to do everything the way HE thinks would be best for HIM (and what's best for him is automatically the best for everybody — in his logic). I thought he might be happy to be included in a field he's familiar with (he loves all kinds of vehicles, owns several ones and also re-buys and sells them frequently), but I hoped he could be part of MY decision making FOR ME but all he's able to do is to make decisions FOR HIMSELF and to force it on everyone around him.
For me, that's not the quality of a leader, role-model, guide or provider, for me that's just selfish, egocentric, self-centered (maybe even toxic masculine) behavior and an unasked demonstration of supremacy.
Edit: now he sends me gas-cars—it's getting ridiculous
