Heyo fellow gear makers, I’m currently working on a mask and was wondering if anyone has paint suggestions i have acrylic tube paint I thought about using but wanna know if that’ll do good? If anyone has any suggestions pls let me know!

Mask update

Ngl I feel very proud of this it’s still not entirely done but this is what I’m bringing to show my teacher 😁

added the eyes

yall tell me why it’s so hard to hot glue the eyes

anyone have tips for hot glueing the eyes?????

Finished mask

Fixed a few things added side fur honestly looks a little better

still feel off wearing it but we should for ourself some leeway this is the first mask we’ve fully felted, painted, redid the ears, and fully added fur to, and eyes

yeah it looks pretty good and well improve as we make more!

Also sry about the messy desk background 😭

also ngl I love the little cowlick in the fur on th left ear I can’t seem to fix it but I love it adds character

yall I tried on my mask earlier and it looks good when I don’t have it on and it looks creepy on me 🥲😭 not sure how to make it less creepyyyyy

the disappointment is so real bc I feel like it looks good I added the eyes and I think it’s sumn to do with the eyes I dunno tbh

yall im still working on my mask 😭college be taking up my time and i dont have enough time to work on it

kinda cool teacher wants me to wear it to art class tomorrow for an assignment on identity wish me luck and that I don’t get picked on big time👍

im really self conscious 😅ik not to listen to ppl hating but i have a history with being bullied

Small update on the mask touched up the black around the eyes added the middle of the face and some dots around the mouth area

Still need to add the eyes and add fur around the sides but it’s coming along

Heyo all creatures here’s an update on my mask

Added the base colors gonna retouch the black and add smaller details today

there’s a little tear in the felt on the bottom of the right eye ngl thinking about adding a scar there

this is my current progress on my mask! Only my second felted one and first one to ever add my own ears to

my felting has some improving to do lol but so far I like it!

gonna paint it next then add the fur on the sides!
