A lot of people in the Bionicle fandom really loved how the Shadow/Elemental Beast’s legs were animated in Journey to One (myself included). It seemed as though nobody was sure how to emulate the animated thing, out of real LEGO pieces. I tried it out and this was my best solution. There were 5 variations I tried out, only two really came close to what they show looks like. I still need to get my hands on these sets!

Maybe I’m just a set purist but I have yet to see a good beast MOC that actually looks better than the actual sets. The sets look pretty decent already, sans Flame Beast who needs better hands and longer legs...a neck wouldn’t hurt either.

I’m sure there are good MOCS out there, but I haven’t looked enough yet.
