Looks like another one just popped up in Mr. D’Anda’s stories on Instagram! Based on some other stuff I’m seeing in the Bionicle community in reddit, ttv and twitter I’m inclined to believe these are for commissioned pieces for Bionicle Day on 8-01. I hope there are prints of these!

Do you think there's any chance of seeing more Masterpieces (in packs) in the future, or have they been replaced by the mythic edition?

No more Mythic editions! I’d rather have a chance to get a special card in a pack than never see an entire special set because nobody in my area is going to purchase them—they are certainly out of my budget and I’m a heavily invested modern player, so that’s saying something. Distribution for these special products has been a train wreck and should not have skipped the LGS. If some kind of special set was released it needs to be sold through LGS locations, not eBay, amazon or has to direct.

I finally got around to watching this collection/series whatever you call it and I was blown away! I have always had a soft spot for darker sci-fi short stories and Love Death and Robots did not disappoint!

Inquiring Minds Want To Know - Planes to Visit in the Future

In today’s information gathering, I’m interested to hear what planes you want to visit in an upcoming Standard-legal set. Here’s how I would like you to respond. Please list, in order, your favorites from one up to five. You can list less than five, but please restrict yourself to five answers. Number 1 should be the plane you most want to see us visit in the future. 

If you’re interested you may also tell me why you want to return to that plane. You can list any known plane including ones we’ve never visited before. I need names of existing planes though and not “wild west plane”. 

Here’s an example:

1. Innistrad - It’s my favorite plane

2. Fiora - I love Conspiracy and would like to see Fiora in a Standard-legal set.

3. Tarkir - Go back, but there better be clans.

4. Rath - I don’t know how you’d do it, but I’d love it.

5. Alara - More Esper please.

I would love to get a lot of data, so please pass this along to your Magic friends to answer as well.

1. Innistrad-I loved the angel theme and really want to know what post eldrazi life is for those still kicking (with two legs that is). Also Sorin needs to come back.

2. Theros (Nyx)-Ashiok is one of my favorite characters and I’m thrilled to have more story content and art with them in it. I also loved the giant mythical monsters of Theros and hope to see more cool mechanics for them in the future.

3. Muraganda-limited mono color building and basic lands matter are themes I want to play with in constructed format. I would hope there is more commitment to anatomical accuracy for the dinosaurs—also please hire Chase Stone to make all of the dinosaur art because his Ghalta was a masterpiece.

4. Lowryn/Shadowmoor-I missed this block the first time and I think it’d be awesome to see it executed. I love hybrid mana and the options it gives many decks in multiple formats. Also the hideaway lands are really enjoyable.

5. Shandalar- doesn’t really have an identity as a plane. I’d like to play with slivers in standard, they kinda feel like eldrazi with their otherworldly abilities and look and could set up a cool players vs. player archenemy location.
