Our baby boy begins FIRST GRADE today and rode a school bus for the first time 🥰😭🌞🤯🥳🥴🥺😇🙀🙈🙊 He has been so excited to get back to school and be with his friends again and grow with his new teacher, and to use his new retro, glow in the dark, Star Wars backpack and his planet box lunch box. Another year at BFS (@buckinghamfriendsschool ) and we couldn't be anymore grateful that our Elijah gets to have such an incredible experience. How many kids are actually excited each and every day to get to school?! 🤓😊 I just have to know .... where have the past six years gone?!?! Mythical creatures weren’t our only find on a school visit to Carolina Friends School today. So impressed by the wonderful emphasis on community, self reliance and diversity in the school’s approach and ethic. And Viv loved the emphasis on students being engaged, educated citizens who are challenged to seek truth & right. Not sure if she’ll make a change for high school but I’m happy that she wants to explore. She’s always seeking a challenge on her way to finding herself and her place in this world.
