Please, Universe, let her have a better year this year than last year. Middle school only values conformity - not individuality. And my wild one is a colorful little explosion of personality and pizazz. Kids can be cruel, and try to mock and bully the creative spark right outta ya. She's determined today to go "be the 7th grader she needed last year," lol, and help any lost, struggling, brand new 6th graders she sees today. She got percussion as an elective and is freaking stoked about that. 🖤 Cheers to a new year.
