Welp, here’s the final part of all the OCs I’ll draw! The first panel is Jira, who belongs to @archangeldraws and I believe me when I said I went through like 5 different backgrounds to find the one I was happy with. The color scheme feels like eye candy to me in that one. The second panel is Caelignis, who belongs to @qualxon ; the wings were a nightmare, but I persevered. I also had lots of fun with the lighting on this one. And the first time I had multiple light sources in a drawing of mine. The last panel is Minarva, who belongs to @the--sparrow I knew ever since I began doing these drawings of OCs of other creators that I love, that I was gonna make Minarva stand atop a cliff, as I always felt it to be fitting for her. I’ve now done that and it feels just as fulfilling as I imagined it. The colors were awesome to mess around with there and I’m happy with the pink-red color scheme I went with there. I also wanted to ask, do you happen to have any advice on picking out names for OCs? I've got two that have designs but no official names yet lol, I'm struggling to find ones to stick (thanks in advance!) :D

Well, finding names is always a real task. I guess it depends on the characters.

For Kaijus, you could use the Toho method.

Like, Gojira is a mashup of the two words, Gorilla and Kujira (whale) You could use two words that kinda describe your kaiju and mash them together. Or like, when I made my original Kaiju Batyrnidae, I just mashed the latin words for a ray and a shark together

If it's more a natural character, like a humanoid, maybe look for a meaning or trait you want them to have and then check if there is a name with that meaning. Maybe test different languages too

Or a profession? Your characters is a warrior? Check out a list of famous warrior names. Stuff like that ^^
