Does David Cage, despite having never met me, know he's my mortal enemy?
The only thing that could make Detroit any worse is if there is literally a section of the game where black androids are doing the equivalent or straight up picking cotton

Heavy Rain Review (PS3)
"Are you willing to suffer for someone you love?" Why yes! Now give me the saw so I can chop off my pinky! Heavy Rain Review
Who hates quick time events? Everyone! So how about we make a game where it's nothing but quick time events. That is heavy rain, an original project by quantum games for the ps3. It's surprisingly fun and engaging. So get your origami pieces ready, this is my review of Heavy Rain. Story:
The game follows Ethan Mars, an arquitect who lives happily with his wife Grace and his 2 sons, Jason and Shaun. On Jason's 10th birthday, he and Ethan get hit by a car, killing Jason. Months later Ethan and Grace divorce and Shaun is kidnapped. Is up to Ethan and the 3 other protagonist to find Shaun before becoming a victim to the serial murder, the Origami Killer. The story is really engaging, the pain of the characters seems real and possible. The drama and emotions are strong. This game has a lot of endings that will change depending on your choices an actions. If a character does during a mission the story continues with no game over, which is really interesting in my opinion. Characters: You control 4 main characters through out the story.
Ethan Mars.
Madison Page
Norman Jaiden
Scott Shelby
The characters are very well done, The writing in this game is pure gold and the voice actors, though cheesy at points do an amazing job with the characters. Gameplay:
All the actions in this game are done through quick time events, so you must always be ready and be quick on your feet. I'm not a big fan of random quick time events in games, but I like it in this game cause it's the base of the game play. The only thing you do with out qte is moving which you do with the R2 button. All the characters do different things. Ethan does "Saw" style tests to get clues to find Shaun. Madison helps Ethan and finds as much information as she can. Norman destroys the realism using a device known as ARI to analyze his environments and clues. Shelby is a private investigator gaining information and any evidence related to the case. Artstyle/graphics:
Now since everything I do is related to anime you might expect me not to like how the game looks, you are wrong. I love the look of the game, it looks incredibly real and Te characters look amazing, I don't think an anime style could have done this story any justice. There are moments where the characters look very uncanny valley-ish but not at many occasions. Music:
The music in this game is beautiful, I love this game's soundtrack. Using a mixture of Piano and orchestra bringing more drama and more power to the emotions. My favorite track is Ethan's Theme. Overall: Story: 9.6/10 Gameplay:7/10 Characters:8/10 Artstyle: 8/10 Music:10/10 Total: 8.52/10
I had a great time with this review and I would like to thank all my fellow followers and Im glad you are enjoying my reviews, I´ll accept any request as a thank you for staying with me.
Next time we meet we tackle Megaman X. Now If you'll excuse me, I'm Gonna go to the mall JASON!
Heavy Rain Makers Showcase Some New Tech
Those masters of the uncanny valley are at it again. Quantic Dream, the makers of Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit in Europe), have released a new tech demo at GDC; once again showcasing their prowess of the PlayStation 3 hardware. The video provides a short narrative that's oozing with plenty of the melodrama the studio is known for.
Comparing this new video demo with Heavy Rain's original tech demo, you can see there has been some serious progress in getting the Playstation 3 to handle skin texture, lighting, and depth of field, properly.
Unfortunately the lip-syncing and dead eyes are as dated as ever. This is especially sad considering that Heavenly Sword by Ninja Theory had amazing facial capture animation that pre-dated Heavy Rain by three years, and even Avatar by two. I think we can also all agree that L.A. Noir's facial capture animations were nothing short of groundbreaking.
So before I turn this news post into an editorial, I’ll reserve my opinions until I play the final product; should such a project come out of this demo. Hopefully the story and its lead character will be much more engaging than Heavy Rain; that way we can all forget we are moving around lifeless mannequins.
