Dear game devs
Dear game developers: making Quick Time Events optional is a disability access issue. I have lost count of how many games are unplayable to me and other folks with motor issues due to them being sodding mandatory

What if Sonic Boom was a choice driven game?
Like The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series, imagine if Sonic Boom was a choice driven game. This means that the game has different characters that you can play as. Many different events can occur. For Example: When Knuckles and Amy arrive at the mines and the scared miner says that the miners are trapped, the Cutscene will end and then the player will play as Knuckles and try to find the miners but it is too dark to see. So the player must look around for a light source. There is a flashlight on the ground near the top right-hand corner of the stage. Or the player will find an oil can and a log with a lighter beside it. The player will make Knuckles grab the flashlight or the log (whichever comes first) and once the player has had a look of the object, a timer will appear in the corner for... Let's say... 15 minutes.
The player has to find the miners in that time period. The player will find some actions along the way but not that really matters. What really matters is the fact that after those actions, the timer might 12 minutes to go. The player will find some new information regarding the miners in the course of the time period which will lead into something more sinister. Once the player finds the miners, Knuckles with help the injured bunch and Amy will try and find a way out. One side of the mine has caved in so no way out that way. Knuckles will need to get the injured out first then the others. The timer may say only a short amount of time left but that only depends if the player has found the trapped miners at the quickest time possible. Once the miners are out of the mines, Knuckles and Amy will run out of the mine and then the whole mine will explode from the bombs that the player discovered. If the timer runs out Knuckles will hear ticking which sounds like bombs. Knuckles will suggest that they should get out of the mines. Amy will trip over and Knuckles will run over to her to help her up. This is when the player has a quick time event in which the player will have to press in a matter of time as Knuckles in which Amy will fall over but if pressed correctly, Knuckles will save her. They'll run out of the mines and then it will explode with the miners still trapped. Amy will start to cry and Knuckles turns her around and trt to find Sonic and Tails to tell them what happened.
Yes.. it may sound a little off-putting as off a Sonic game anyway.
So, what did you think of this idea. Leave a comment below.
Thanks for reading.

Game Devs, Take Note: These are the 12 Reasons the “Octo Expansion” for Splatoon 2 Features My Favorite End-Game of All Time
Splatoon has never been a series that people buy for the single player experience; the campaigns of 1 and 2 are not overly challenging, the rewards for completing them are underwhelming, and the levels are rarely interesting.
All this changed with the Octo Expansion. While first making a poor first impression with frustrating levels and a dreaded “pay to play” model (don’t worry, you use in-game currency only), the story mode ends up vastly outshining anything else the series has put forth, especially in the game’s final moments. Here are the 12 reasons why I loved the end of the Octo Expansion way more than I expected.
NOTE: Major spoilers for everything that follows your collection of the final “thang.”

Extra Credits looks at the accessibility of video games for disabled players.
From text size to audio Extra Credits examines the elements that are to be considered for accessibility to interactive entertainment, including the need to keep button mashing out of quick time events for those with mobility issues.
The more options the better.
Just played Beyond: Two Souls. I really didn’t like the gameplay -I could never tell which way to turn the joystick to keep Jodie from getting killed by the spirits and enemies. I also don’t understand why the world around Jodie is so black and white. The only positive, genuinely good character is Cole. The other NPCs are 50/50. I disliked Nathan right away- just a stereotypical nice white guy with glasses, a psychologist who’s either a psycho like Bloody Face from American Horror Story or a dumb nerd geek like your former classmate. That’s because Dawkins isn’t written very well in this game. I never felt sorry for him from the very start.
I also found the missions where you have to run around the CIA locations extremely annoying- they bored me to death. I did enjoy the chapters “Navajo,” “Old Friends,” and the part where Jodie runs through the train. Overall, the game is a 5/10. This is my personal opinion — your point of view may differ. I approached it as just an ordinary player, not a fan of the game.
