I honestly love black flag, but I definitely agree that it would be greatly improved by the removal of Edward.
i LOVE you, i just. i was playing it like ???? is this supposed to stir anything in me except contempt bc edward is just whiny and annoying and not sympathetic in the least. and the world is so beautiful and the ship is great and i love all those things but edward is just so bland. i love altair and ezio and ratonhnhaké:ton like YES give me complex and interesting characters, give me ezio's optimism and charm and ratonhnhaké:ton's dedication to doing the right thing even when it leaves him floundering in a terrible situation and just, YES. and then edward comes along and it's like christopher nolan's batman all over again :/ like yeah i'm having great fun playing a pirate game!! except i'm playing as a grim yoghurt :/
