‘ what a curious creature you are. ’ words were whispered, the matriarch speaking to herself mostly. unable to contain her growing interest, she picked the lion up, looking him over. ‘ are you a gem ? ’ she saw no gem, but it was her first assumption.
→ @quarlion liked for a starter !
the large feline lets out a huff through its nose, sitting at the side of the table and staring intently at the bottle of water standing on it. he lifts up a paw, pausing for a brief second before smacking it down.
“No- no no Lion don’t-!!” Too late. Always too late. As per usual, there was just no stopping the pink feline from doing as he pleased, just as there was, for some reason, absolutely no way for them to catch the bottle before it went rolling across the floor and far, far away.
They scowled as the bottle came to a rolling stop in front of the fridge door, fingers tingling from the phantom sensation of having just missed catching it. Defeat stung at their pride, but there was still a chance! Yes, if this worked out, there was still a chance of making a sucky situation into a totally awesome one!
And all it required was a little bit of cooperation!
“....Fetch, Lion! Go on- fetch! Bring it back!”
