Countless Gems were there in that pool, and Jasper felt strangely... small. Lost, confused, and lacking in any sort of idea of why this was happening, Jasper just was content to stay put in that pool. It wasn’t like she had anywhere else to go. Amethyst was there, too.
“...So,” Jasper said at last. “What’s a ‘sis?’“ She tilted her head. Amethyst had greeted her with a ‘hey, sis,’ and it had left Jasper further at a loss of what to say. She had been expecting the Crystal Gems to be afraid of her. They weren’t, though.

“Amethyst!” Peridot shrieked from where she was hiding behind her worn out couch, pointing a trembling finger to a large nest that had taken residence in the rafters.

New Friend from Beyond (AU Starter)
25-year-old Ben Tennyson was strolling the boardwalk of Beach City, and taking in the scenery. It was definitely different from life in Bellwood, but at least things were a little more interesting here.
As he was strolling by the beach, he spotted what he could've sworn looked like a short, purple-skinned girl with white/lavender hair and a jet-black tank top and shorts.
He sped up his walk a little more and headed over to the strangely-colored girl.
"Hey there." he waved. "Nice evening, isn't it?"
