My Favorite Moments from Queen 1 (almost all from Disc 3)

I listened to it for the first time finally and UGHHHH we were FED

-Roger’s maniacal laughing in the Keep Yourself Alive De Lane Lea Demo (disc 2)

EDIT: I made a video compilation of these so y’all didn’t have to! Captioned (I tried my best…it gets hard when they talk over each other) and color coded. Freddie is black and white, Brian is blue, Roger is red, John doesn’t talk in these clips. If it’s plain white, I didn’t know who was talking. Enjoy :)

The nAIght comes down.

Took these screenshots from the last seconds of the video, but in motion it's even worse. I was worried about the animated photos -that still look bad- but I wasn't prepared for this.

I'm glad any person with functioning eyeballs is currently trying to pop them out of their sockets and slamming Queen Productions in the comments of everything, this is HIDEOUS.

1. Could've paid actual artists instead of a dude with a keyboard (artist specialised in AI my big ass, this sucks even for being AI), Beatles have been making beautiful animated videos for years and got lots of praise.

2. Could've done like the A Kind of Magic video and gather fanarts from fans literally for free and it would've looked gorgeous.

Btw for sure we'll get a video for Mad the Swine as well. Don't let them do this again, Queen music deserves better.

OKAY!!!!!

The new 2024 mix of The Night Comes Down just released on Spotify..... does anyone one else hate it??? The drums sound awful!!!!! I couldn't even finish listening to it.

If anyone does like it, please let me know, and I may give it a re-listen, but good LORD, I wish they'd just left it the way it was!!!!

So the tape of the new Queen 1 mix is on its way and I had a listen to keep yourself alive and I’m mixed on it. On one hand they brought it to the level of every other Queen album, but it misses the charm a bit. It sounds great with the crisper audio, but it’s missing that warmth (and coziness?) from the mid heavy original mix. Though it’s a different take on the same album, so it should probably be seen as a separate thing instead of a replacement
