Hi! The anonymous person who asked about the Jealous Brian and Under Pressure fanfic here. Thank you so much for replying, I hope everything goes well with your house situation! I'll keep an eye out for your updates! Since you replied, I wanted to ask you a question I've had since I joined the Queen fandom, do you know where the Roger's nickname for Brian, "Brimi", came from? I've seen it in Spanish and English fanfics (I'm Mexican), and as far as I understand, and for what other people told me, it's from that video where they record One Vision. Could you give me a more specific answer if u know? Thanks!

About ‘Brimi.’

The nickname has its origins in the early days of Queen. If I remember correctly, Freddie was the one who gave Brian this nickname.

They were all massive fans of Jimi Hendrix and Freddie christened Brian with the affectionate nickname ‘Brimi.’ A combination of his own name and that of Jimi Hendrix.

Stating that Brian would be his Jimi due to his clear talent as a guitarist. I imagine this was also a way to boost Brian’s confidence. Something he lacked as a young man.

It reflects Freddie’s admiration for his friend and his way of boosting Brian yo meet his full potential as a performer.

12. Freddie with or without the moustache?

Oh my gosh, that's so HARD! I say without, because he looked so freaking cute in the 1970s when you could see his sweet mouth. But, I also appreciate the fact that his mustache sort of symbolized his gay community and it became so iconic for him. And it's such a symbol that everyone recognizes about him. BUT still I wanna see his beautiful mouth, so (hides) without!

24. Who’s got the biggest dick?

God, you're killing me. Everyone says John, and I was going to say John, too, but I am going to piss everyone off and say John's balls were what was big and what we're seeing in the bulge. I have to say, Freddie had the biggest dick. THERE, now everyone can come at me!

9 best Roger song?

Best - hmmm what is best? I think Drowse, These Are The Days of Our Lives, Heaven for Everyone are perhaps his most perfect songs. But he wrote two monster tracks that resonated around the world in Radio Ga Ga and One Vision, and let’s not forget that the basic structure of Under Pressure that Bowie and Freddie improvised on top of and John added a killer bass to was originally a Roger song. I think Tenement Funster and Gangsters are Running This World are quintessential Roger songs not quite bookending his career though.

21 Whose solo projects are your fave?

It will surprise no-one that I love to see one tiny blond rocker do everything himself. Strange Frontier is perhaps the best and most coherent Queen solo project: ostensibly a sci-fi dystopia but at the same time a meditation on passion and the emptiness that you find when you achieve your dream of success. But I also really love Freddie’s collaborations with Montserrat Caballé and think that one of our greatest losses was missing out on what the 90s climate of classical collaborations would have brought us from him - what he did do with her clearly stretched him in a way that the commercial music he had been making wasn’t doing any more and led to the fresh burst of creation in The Miracle and especially Innuendo.

"Love Of My Life" and "Nevermore" have lyrics that are so <3 but let's go for LOML and and the way this song is expressed, whatever its meaning, it feels emotional and that's the magic touch.

Oh it was "I'm Going Slightly Mad", i remember being there in my desktop listen to some songs and my youtube feed put me that song there, i said "oh? and this song? Queen???", then the videoclip make me feel so !!!!! cuz i love the style there and the song... i love it so much the first time i listened to it like i went: "AND THIS?? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL THIS TIME???" SJJSD

uhh i dunno... i get freddie in those quiz about which member you are, and idk whY cuz i always think that i'm gonna get roger!!! JSJSJ but i think we may be kinda similar in how we want the best for our friends, we like peace and don't like to start a fight so we go for a moment to laugh instead to fight? yk? but this is just a perspective !!

I think it was when i started to listen to all Queen albums, i started to listen to "NOTW" and "Who needs you" came, written by our talented man John Deacon. I was like "this song is so cool and the music is so lovely!! and the lyrics rlly strong!", then i went to see the lyrics and it says that john was the writer! JSJSJ i think i was surprised cuz i used to see john as the quite member?? idk! but well, amazing and whole chefs kiss song !
