Feeling devotional tonight, so I decided to post a weird poem I made for Hel.
My Lady Death
Her piercing gaze goes soft for me
Her child
Her pupil
“Hail the Black Sheep”
She tells me, always standing beside me
Saving me from myself
O’ Goddess,
You who loves me so,
You who has been by my side
Who has shown me my power
How I thank you
I never worry about how worthy I am of your love
Because I know that my life will be forever
And so will your love
And I know your love is eternal… everlasting
So that love may never abandoned the souls which you watch over
You’ve built me up and brought me down over and over again
To which I thank you even more.
Without you, I couldn’t have been this knowing
This aware of your mysterious ways
O’ Death how I love you so
Lady Death kisses my neck, with her skeletal hand on my shoulder
Through flickering flames, I see that my lady is there
Her love pierces my heart so wonderfully that I don’t ever want her to let go
She encourages me to stay on my right path and to not stray way from her
She possesses my body and shows me my future
She’s cynical
Shes direct
She’s benevolent
She’s my goddess
My mother
Goddess, from your womb I came.
From your bones, mine were formed
And from my birth, I've always known that I’ve been yours.
I am your Torn Prince
Allow me to rise from the dead and serve you until im forced back into the ground
Allow my eye to open when you’re near
Allow me your sight, you smell, your touch
For you’ve blessed me with it over and over again
Sympathy for the Devil is what you’ve sent me
Sympathy for your story
And sympathy for myself
You've brought me the confidence I require to be myself, my true self.
Pleased to meet you, from the moment I saw your face
And you saw it was time for me to change
To come into the power that you’ve given me
