I wonder if Pepper Potts and Felicity Smoak would be friends?

They both have try-hard billionaire vigilante boyfriends, they both run the companies of said billionaire boyfriends, they’re both wicked smart, they both know how to talk their man down from doing something stupid and chastising him when he does, they both are friends with their boyfriends’ one black friend, they both support the vigilante mission, they both think their boyfriends have unhealthy coping mechanisms, they both have been kidnapped and rescued themselves, they both have watched their boyfriends die multiple times and almost died themselves. The list goes on and on.

So Felicity’s company is coming but it’s not Smoak Technologies (or Queen Technologies)... could that be because it’s Queen Inc.- the name of the company that is merging with Wayne Tech in the 2024 news article from the Flash and thus the company that is supposedly destined to happen? 

The name being already in existence could be why it “can’t” be Smoak Tech (along with a changed last name please). Or is something else going on?

Changing The Future?

With Felicity staying a Smoak, does it mean the future has changed and Queen, Inc will not exist, therefore neither will the merger?

Louiseblue1 brought up an interesting theory: Could Oliver and Felicity have two companies? One named Smoak Tech. And the other Queen Inc.? Or does renaming Palmer Tech in Queen Inc. make more sense?

Sure! That's possible, but I don'tthink it'll happen. I believe there will be one company and Felicitywill rename it Queen Inc after she and Oliver get married in Season5.

So now, when Felicity is owner of Palmer Technologies...

..., according to The Central City Citizen in 2024 will exist corporation named Queen Inc. - and Oliver still will be vigilante with not much time for business - is it crazy to think that he’ll marry again? :P
