I think it's shameful that we as a society don't have any good film adaptations of Alexandre Dumas who is the most cinematographic author ever. The guy has nothing but actions and dialogue, how come the 50 episodes long tv series about the Count of Monte Cristo is still not produced. Forget tv show, what kind of a movie any work of his would make. I distinctly remember liking Queen Margo but so many things have been cut that really it can't compare to the book in the slightest.
