Mina Loveberry is still at large and is plotting against Eclipsa to forever continue her delusions of her glory days and kill all monsters! What’s she gonna do? Idk? How’s she gonna do it? Idk? Can she do it? IDK!? But when I first saw the title of this ep my mind went to a dark place! God save the Queen! Let’s find Eclipsa now:

*Queen-Napped-ECLIPSA’S GONE! The Ransomgram delivery monster comes back, with just the mail again! Don’t hurt her people! There’s a Reflectacorp bill for all the damages Star did back in “The Ponyhead Show!”, yeah looks like that wasn’t swept under the rug there, but who gives a f***! ECLIPSA’S GONE! Star uses the All-Seeing Eye Spell to find her and sees Eclipsa masked with a squid like sack over her head by some strange creatures called “The Inner Circle”. Don! Don! Don! They demand money in exchange for Eclipsas safe return before midnight or else! Pony Head blabs about this “queen-napping” to all of Mewni on her blog, but no one in Mewni really gives a sh*t, until it’s revealed Eclipsa might die. Oh! So now they care! Star, Marco, Janna and Pony Head then go off in search for her.

It’s played up like a crime drama from Ponyheads POV what with her updating it on her show Live and talking about how she hoped there’d be a “hot boys in leather jackets in the park” sceanario or whatever. Janna thinks Eclipsa might be in the Underworld due to the flaamming background she saw, but she wasn’t there and a riddle is sent to Star. Underworld Hideout:❌. The answer to the riddle was the Graveyard where they find the assassin, Babs (still with pink eye), but she was just delivering another riddle and a pic attached with Eclipsa in a shark tank. Graveyard Hideout:❌ and Suspect Babs:❌. The answer to that one was the Waterfolk Kingdom where they find mer prince, Larry Kelpbottom, but it’s not him either. Waterfolk Kingdom:❌ and Suspect Prince Larry Kelpbottom:❌. Ugh! DAMN IT ECLIPSA, WHERE THE F*** ARE YOU!? Stars having a mental breakdown over here! It’s all Pony Heads fault, the reason why “The Inner Circle” keep changing locations is cuz Pony Head is live streaming the whole “crime drama adventure”! Seriously, Pony Head, Seriously!

Finally Star figures out the real answer to the riddle and it’s a mirror. Wait, mirrors? (gasp) Reflectacorp! Seahorse did it! It all makes sense now! The money was the same amount that Star owed for the damages and Eclipsas there! Was Seahorse nonchalantly pissed off at what Star did to his equipment? Did he relapse back into his edgy bad boy self? Why!? Wait a minute, why’s Eclipsa cool about this? She’s okay? And was just playing VR!? And the Ponyhead Sisters are “The Inner Circle”? And What’s with all the cameras and spotlights?

Surprise twist, it wasn’t Mina! Huh, whattaya know! That was interesting! That whole build up from “The Ghost of Butterfly Castle” really looked to be foreshadowing something there, but they threw a curve ball! Ha! Ha! (drum beat 🥁). Well I guess maybe not yet as Star and everyone else don’t know about her whereabouts and Star didn’t even list her as a suspect and instead thought the Magic High Commission. You know, I kinda thought who it might be cuz I was like, “Hmmmmm, riddles, who do we know that uses riddles? Reynaldo the Bald Pate! ❌ Lol! I thought maybe he had snapped and wanted back in the MHC by kidnapping Eclipsa in exchange!😅 Boy was I off! Ponyhead actually did something really cool for someone for once and thanks to that, Eclipsa is starting to get liked! Guess she saw that the only like from her last episode was more to do with Eclipsa than herself and used it for better use. Does this mean people will show up at “Cornonation” for when she’s finally declared Queen of Mewni by being accepted by the people? Cuz I always thought that nobody, but Star and Marco and some of their friends would only attend and it would just be really depressing, but I think that’ll change now thanks to Ponyhead. Speaking of Ponyhead, is this going to be a running gag with the whole “Ponyhead Show” thing? Cuz I have a feeling she’ll also broadcast the whole “Cornonation” episode too if Mina will show up in that one since it’s half hour.
