Happy (late) Halloween, my friends!
Here, have a lovely trio and a glimpse of this blog's main oc. I won't tell you his name yet, but his reveal will come soon. Well, as soon as I learn how to draw background, that is. I'm sorry this didn't come out yesterday, but I had too little time on my hand to finish it in time. I still hope you like it:
???: I cannot believe you have managed to talk me into this...nonsense! This is hummiliating and a waste of time! If the soldiers saw us like this...
Nyra: Oh, shut it. This is all in good fun! Besides, you look simply gorgeous in that cape of yours.
???: Yes, yes, whatever! Just call Surtr and let's get this over with! There is an entire stack of paperwork waiting for me back at our quarters...
???: I cannot even fly in this attire! Who made this?
Nyra: Shut your lovely beak, love.
Nyra: Surtr! Are you coming, dear? The faster we get this done the faster you can take this marvolously carved pumpkin off of your head and put your mask back on!!!
Metal Beak: I swear in Glaux' name, Nyra. If you weren't my wife, you would be long gone...
Nyra: Sulking like a hatchling will not get you out of this, my sweetheart! Come over here and say it, and I swear in the name of the Pure Ones to leave you be.
Metal Beak: I should have your wings clipped for this!
And for those who are interested; I thought of the following scenario hat caused me to draw this comic:
Nyra ADORES Halloween. Whenever that time of the year comes around, she feels the spirit and wants her mates to do the same. However, neither male was particularly interested in Halloween and does not share her enthusiasm. They would prefer to treat it like any other day.
Nyra, however, cared little for and promptly talks her mates into participating in a small celebration. Forcing the tallest to dress up as a vampire as his red eyes fit the theme and putting a carved pumpkin on Metal Beak's head to replace his usual mask (he hates her for it), the Queen of the Pure Ones wishes all of you a Happy (late) Halloween.🎃👻
