No, not at all.

Soren was young, inexperienced and scared. Metal Beak was about to kill him and he, of course, did everything he could to protect himself.

Was I dissatisfied with the ending? Of course I was, but I never blamed Soren for it. It was just written badly imo.

Surtr's vocal cords

I think Surtr could have sustained vocal cord damage throughout the years without an upper beak.

I highly doubt that an open cavity is good for the vocal cords and the mouth in general. It would explain the occasional crack in his voice.

Yes, the eggs are his. No, it wasn't Nyra or my OC who laid them. Yes, my mind is weird. Yes, I belong into an asylum.

Will I go? No.

Was this a complete waste of my time? Yes.

Do I regret it? Yes.

Will I do it again? Yes.

Am a salty today? Yes.

Do I apologize for it? No.

Why? I was trapped in a car in which I could not get out of in scorching heat for over 1 1/5 hours, constantly fighting not to vomit all over my lap and the car carpet, only to walk through an ugly ass city for hours in the middle of the sun, sweating my ass off while being run over by nearly everything because the people there appear to have forgotten to grow eyes! And the drive home wasn't better because intelligence is lacking in the human race, which led to a MASSIVE traffic jam! And that is the BEST part of my day today! The only positive was that I got to see my mum and that I spent some time chatting with my friend.

So have this and let me get back to my basement to draw more useless things and be an even saltier bitch.
