Zonai can purr. You can pry that headcanon out of my cold, dead hands.

They only do so around people they trust.

Rauru and Sonia being all lovey-dovey and he's purring up a storm, because his wife is giving him ear scritches. (and Zelda trying her hardest not to giggle at her new parents)

Mineru wants none of that, but then Zelda shows up and they start geeking out together and Mineru catches herself purring with happiness, because now she has a little sister/niece figure she can geek out with to her heart's content.

Zelda thinks it's cute as fuck and jokes that if Link was a Zonai, he'd probably kill her with cuteness every time he purrs.

Happy 3rd anniversary to Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom!

This game like. took over my whole existence back when it came out. My first ao3 work was a totk fanfic. All of my art from May to August was totk fanart. My first amiibo figurine was totk Zelda. This game was my genshin impact before i even knew about genshin impact.

So as a tribute to this thrillingly written, epically designed, beautifully crafted game, I did a redraw of my first Queen Sonia fanart (which i did with 5 really shitty dollar store alcohol markers in the back of my grandparents' ancient car)

Oh little 16-year-old Skips, if only you knew. The drawing you made would be recreated 3 years later with a mastery you'd only seen in your dreams <3
