Also, it doesn't make sense. If the father is richer than the mother then why the fuck does he act like a fucking hobo? Like in that party scene in first ep, he clearly bought that vehicle for himself. He just used Rey as an excuse. Rich people wouldn't even care to pretend 🙃

Ugh. I always hated this trope of redeeming the obviously irredeemable characters.
