Random Headcanon:

Aziraphale (book and show) has an actual great knowledge of languages, just barely any useful ones on the ground that they aren’t spoken anymore, whether or not humans are even aware they ever existed.  (Think of the scene in Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade)

Due to this he tends to get frustrated at historians etc bungling grammar, pronunciation etc of ‘dead tongues’, and even more frustrated at the fact that he can’t say anything. And as Aziraphale got into trouble for miracling knowledge into people’s head at some points, Crowley takes some childish delight in miracling an outrageously wrong reading/interpretation of texts into people’s heads every now and then. (It’s his payback for Az getting it into humans’ heads that the Serpent was Lucifer...)

Happy Headcanon:

I don’t actually have ‘happy headcanons’ for Az. Not in the sense that I want to see him suffer, but rather that a lot of stuff I love about and for him is outright canon.

So in book omens you had mentioned a hc that book heaven is more well intended but absent? I kind of like to think they are real stick to the rules and then you are the good guys?? So then?? Does that make Az the bad boy of heaven? (I find this extremely hilarious) bc he isn’t evil not a fallen but he is a loose canon doesn’t play by the rules to Heaven’s standards at least (mean while Crow is the ‘goodie two shoes’ by demon standards) watch out it is the bad boy of heaven here comes bastard AZ

y e a h, that’s pretty much how i always saw it X’D Az is practically a Punk in Heavenly standards (think Spock from Star Trek compared to all the other Vulcans) he’s going to do what he wants and what feels right, no matter what you say. he’ll usually be nice about it but he’s still gonna do it.

(and of course Crow is the goodie two shoes demon, THAT’S already canon haha)

Everytime I read D+D I find new things like AJ assuming Az is married to an angel and not this worlds him, or Az being a BASTARD and going ‘this is a perfect prank bc I get to see the look on AJ’s face when he figures it out’ (he has the face of someone who is like ‘this is a opportunity and I am TAKING IT’) I love Crow and Zira’s interaction (and soon to be more) but so far Az and AJ’s interactions are holding my heart AJ come on he is married to CROW AZIRAPHALE WILL ALWAYS LOVE CROWLEY

I am here for extremely anxious crow, as someone who either rambles when stressed or just goes mute because anything I try to say can and will be jumbled I am HERE; crow is fine all the way until something catches him off guard. He spirals then to a mess, he has better control of himself when he is alone but next to Az he has a harder time bc 1 you can’t bs Az 2 as much as he is going to protect himself he can let his guard down a little around Az

it just be like that when you have anxiety, i know the feel too l’’’D

Curious- I am unsure if this has been answered but do you think Crow sprawls our everywhere like AJ? I think he would mainly around AZ but crow is much more anxious then AJ so I would me suprised if he took a more curled up position like comfortable but he is taking up as little space as possible while still looking cool (tm) idk thoughts?

yeah, in my headcanon Crow doesn’t take up as much space as AJ. where AJ spreads out in a casual manner (no matter how fake), Crow curls into weird small positions. AJ tends to pace and gesture a lot, where as Crow is a lot more still. his movements are jerky and calculated. they both have different ways of expressing their anxiety.

Az stepping from judgemental glance with pointed pinkie to flustered with pink cheeks! I might cry for love and fondness!!

@trickster-archangel he may be less.. “flappable” in Book verse, but he still has his moments, so i wanted to get that right XD

@trellanyx tbh AJ is a bit distracted at the moment to be thinking about a possible Crowley he’s never met. it may not even occur to him that there IS one. but even if he did, it’s true i don’t think he’d immediately come to the conclusion he and Az are married, what with the way their relationship has gone in his own world: very slowly. (100% snark wouldn’t be very true to them i think -v-)
