You should really tag your disgusting biphobia. It can be extremely triggering to some people. (the fact that your title uses queer as a synonym for gay, erasing all other queer identities is really gross)

I personally think that Enjolras can be read as:

homoromantic and homosexual

homoromantic and asexual

aromantic and homosexual

aromantic and asexual

Three of those sexualities would be considered gay, and one would not be - so I choose to use the word queer to describe him in that sense.

I apologize if I come off as biphobic, because that's not my intention. My intention is to keep a character who is explicitly stated to have absolutely no interest in women respected by not having them in a heterosexual relationship.

If I do come off as biphobic, I really do apologize, and I will try to correct that mistake in the future. I was not intending to erase all other queer identies, and I apologize if I did do that. I will try my best not to in the future.
