It’s the climb

I’m back!! Three weeks in the States went by WAY too fast. It’s funny because three weeks back in the US did not feel like three weeks in NZ. I have to admit, the first day back was tough. There were times where I want to buy a flight back home because I missed it so much already but I know this is what I need and want to do. I still have so much to explore and experience here.

So I went back to work. The next day I went back to working at In2Food and then had three more morning shifts at Bazaar. I started getting trained as a hostess and it’s very exciting! I love that I’m learning and doing something new even though my time at Bazaar is still very new in general. I’m definitely not getting as many steps as I did when I do work on the floor clearing plates though, haha.  I’ll make it up at the gym, maybe :)

Working really help with missing home a bit, along with the hike on the Queenstown Hill. I keep forgetting how inclined it is.. I mean it is called the Queenstown HILL. In the end, it was worth it. The view was worth it. The reminder of why I moved to NZ in the first place made the climb worth it.
