We re-located three cars from Queenstown to Nelson which only cost us $9 per car (highly recommended). I was given this compass by my big cousin @bryanhill83 before I left home. It says "wee cuz, so you will always know your way back home". It's just over 4 weeks until we return back to sunny Scotland, and to be honest... I can't bloody wait. Trekking through caves knee deep in water in search of glow worms. We got soo deep there was literally no light for us to follow whatsoever. We finally found them in all there glory, illuminating the roof of the cave like a clear night sky. The past 2 weeks we have been shown around the North Island by @alotofpplsaiditcouldntbedone hunting down the most photogenic spots creating content for his new tourism website. This waterfall blew my mind!! High up in a mountain surrounded by nature. The Conifer trees here in Queenstown are not native and were planted by the first settlers. They are now being destroyed as they pose a threat to the native vegitation. I am a tree hugger by the way. There f@#king majestic. We spent the night at a Kangaroo rescue centre where we were able to help feed and learn about the injured animals. Since we set foot in Australia all we were told was that the Kangaroo is a 'pest'. After learning about them we very quickly realised that these unique animals are anything but. I really dont get how the white man (Australian Government) gets away with declaring that there are too many and decide to cull the animals that had first settled on this land thousands of years before the white man turned up with his two cows and four goats. The main reason they are known as being pests (mostly by farmers) is because they eat the grass which leaves very little for the cows to eat which then effects the meat trade...where all the money is. If you ever decide to come to Australia and someone trys to tell that they 'deserve to be knocked down' or culled, tell them they dont...
