♠: the riskiest thing my muse has ever done
The riskiest thing Audrey has ever done has to be moving to New York, all on her own, with no money in her pockets. She did it on impulse and without much thinking about what tomorrow would bring, she just knew she had to get out of Boston and start anew.
★: five things most people don’t know about my muse
Not many people know that Audrey went to college and that she studied psychology, and she prefers it that way. For some reason, she finds it embarrassing that she didn’t finish college and is now a dealer instead of a psychiatrist that makes some big numbers just by listening to other people’s problems.
No one knows that Audrey’s mom abandoned her. The story that Audrey tells is that her parents divorced and her mom moved somewhere in Europe.
Ballet is something that Audrey is very passionate about, however no one has really seen her dance. She would probably feel awkward if someone was watching her, actually, which is why she never even thought about pursuing ballet as a career.
No one knows that Audrey cries every morning when she wakes up and realizes that Nathan is gone. It’s like reliving his death every single day. In that split second when she opens her eyes and slowly gains consciousness, Audrey reaches out to Nathan’s side of the bed and realizes he is gone, and it all comes crashing down all over again like that first morning without him. But she doesn’t tell anyone about this because she knows it makes her look weak and like she’s unable to move on.
Audrey still keeps Nathan’s clothes inside their closet. She refuses to throw them away or give them to charity. She knows she is going through different stages of grieving and that all of this is “normal”, but once again, she doesn’t want to be seen as weak.
