Belles

a term for black queers who are feminine/femme! the term and flag design is meant to relate black femmes to being beautiful and lovely, in every shape and form. i coined this term myself and also created the flag myself , since i didn't really see any terms for black femmes as stud is for black mascs. stemme doesn't really fit for me personally.

by all means if this relates to you, PLEASE USE IT !! i’d love to have more people to share this feeling and identity with. credit isn't needed but appreciated if used. thank you : )

I couldn't decide on whether I wanted to go for a more separate approach with this flag or try to incorporate the most common design into it. therefore, I made two versions.

ID: a flag with nine horizontal stripes. the colors, from top to bottom, are dark brown, brown, light brown, tan, pinkish white, pastel pink, a more vibrant pastel pink, light blue, and blue. end ID

ID: a flag with nine horizontal stripes. the first four stripes are the same shades of brown and tan described in the previous flag, with the difference beginning at the fifth stripe. the colors of this stripe downward are pastel blue, pastel pink, white, pastel pink, and pastel blue, in homage to the most common trans flag. end ID

And also has a extremely racist history, this flag is for EVERY lesbian/sapphic! (Yes this includes lesboys, lesbians/sapphics with complex genders and mspec lesbians/sapphics)

I've seen so many wonderful and talented queer people on this site and I just wanted to say happy Pride month! Also you can reblog this with your flags and queer identity if you want! Mine are (in order of flag below) Saphic, Berrisexual, and Demigirlflux!

Saphic: an umbrella term for women, non-binary, or woman-aligned individuals who are attracted to women

Berrisexual: the primary sexual attraction to female- and androgynous-aligned genders, with occasional, minor attraction to male-aligned genders

Demigirlflux: when one's experience of gender includes a partial connection to womanhood but one's gender also fluctuates
