Happy pride, everyone!!

I went to my very first pride parade yesterday. As someone who was raised in an incredibly right-wing environment, I almost cried a few times simply because... so many people showed up. So many people were just there, visibly existing and/or supporting, in public. Several local churches showed up in the parade, too. Is there a time you guys have felt a surge of hope or happiness at queer/ally visibility in public?
