Finishing off this lovely ace flag hat. I dont think I stitched the hem quite right, but I think it came out fine all the same. Especially since I just kind of winged the whole thing as I went. Cant wait to stitch up the sides tomorrow and take some nice pics with the finished product over the weekend. Feminism gave me the courage to go back to school and to decide to apply to grad school. I'm hoping to get a PhD in Neuroscience. Also, for the parenting part, I tell my kids that there are no such things as boy stuff and girl stuff and I encourage them to pursue anything that interests them. Consequently, I just bought my daughter a Darth Vader costume and she almost never takes it off. :)

Oh my god! I totally thought the dress thing was bullshit. So I asked Aislin (my 7 yo) and Ryan (my husband) what color the dress was to them. THEY BOTH SAW BLUE AND BLACK AND THEY THINK I AM CRAZY!!!

Plus, I just think that if a really large number of the group are awful people, you have to ask if there is something about the ideology that makes them that way. Maybe good Christians are moral IN SPITE of their religion.

There are so many reasons I hate religion. If you love it, that's completely your own thing and that's fine, but this, the assholes, forcing people to think like you, it's all just a bunch of bullshit. Have your religion, but leave us alone.
