Title: A Date for Mad Mary Year: 2016 Language: Ireland (English)

Plot: She’s got the reputation of being “mad” but Mary just can’t conform to the bullshit ladylike stereotype she’s expected to fit in. In the lead up to her best friend’s wedding she is desperate for a date, someone to prove she can be “normal” but, what happens next is every lesbian’s guess…

Basic Review:

Watching this was a really pleasant experience. Mary’s character is rough around the edges but extremely lovable.

The couple have wonderful chemistry and their on-screen relationship really builds. There are plenty of characters involved in the story to keep you entertained.

Annoyingly there is no real closure at the end between the women but it’s implied that they end up together.

Really feel good film with heaps of laughs.
