Tony gets his hands on Peter’s shoulders, gives him a little shake. “No,” he says again, like if he says it enough it’ll become true. “You do not have to do this, kiddo. You don’t— it’s not your job to protect me.”

“I know,” Peter says, so very earnest. “I know, Dad, I’m not— it’s not. It’s. I.” He takes a deep breath, letting it out shakily. “I want to.”

“You don’t need to—”

“I want to know if I can,” Peter says, all in a rush. “With someone… else. I want— I’m sorry.”

Tony’s hands slide up to cup Peter’s face, the two of them leaning into each other. “Don’t be sorry,” he says. “Don’t— baby, you know whatever you want, I’ll…”

“I know.”

They’re in their own little world, like Quentin isn’t even here. He’s not a fan. 

“You two are adorable,” he says, with all the false sweetness he can muster, “but to be perfectly clear: I want a turn with both of you.” 

Tony wasn’t expecting that, apparently, judging by the way he goes still, the way he doesn’t resist when Quentin gets a hand in his hair and pulls him closer, licking a stripe up the edge of Tony’s jaw, though all Peter’s mess. Tony’s mouth drops open and Quentin takes advantage of that, kissing him hard, tongue in his mouth and if Tony bites him—

He doesn’t, even if he doesn’t really kiss back either, just lax and shocked and tasting muskier and sharper than come. “Good,” Quentin says, “but I want a taste fresh from the source.”

Peter shivers.
