What symptoms are often linked to poor indoor air quality?
Air quality is closely related to health. Poor air quality can cause many symptoms, and these symptoms should attract people's attention. So what are the symptoms, possibly caused by poor air quality?
1. When I get up early in the morning, I feel depressed, sick, etc .;
2. Family members are often prone to catch colds;
3. Although I do not smoke and rarely touch the smoking environment, I often feel uncomfortable throat, foreign body sensation, and poor breathing
4. Children at home often cough, sneeze, and have weakened immunity. Children in newly renovated houses do not want to go home;
5. Family members often have skin allergies and other problems, and are mass;
6. There is one disease in the family, and after leaving this environment, the symptoms will obviously change and improve;
7. Newly-married couples are not pregnant for a long time, and no reason can be found;
8. After newly moving or renovating, indoor plants are not easy to survive, the leaves are easy to yellow and wither, especially some of the most vital plants are also difficult to grow normally
9. After the new move, domestic pet cats, dogs and even tropical fish died inexplicably;
10. I feel a sore throat as soon as I get to work, dry my airway, get dizzy for a long time, and get tired easily. There will be no problem after work. And other staff in the same building also have this feeling;
11. Newly renovated homes and office rooms or newly-purchased homes have irritating odors such as dazzling and pungent odors, and the scent does not disperse for more than one year.
So how to measure indoor air quality? You can choose professional air quality monitor as a reference to measure CO2, PM2.5, particulate matter, TVOC, formaldehyde, etc. If you find that the indoor air quality is not good, you can open the window to ventilate, or use an air purifier.
Would you shave your head?
“Oh no, I do not think so.” Starfire pulls her hair over he shoulder and runs her fingers through the ends. “The shearing of one’s hair is usually only done during times of great mourning. Besides...” A smile pulls across her face. “I enjoy my hair the way it is.”
Is your adult Sarah a Hunter?
outofluck;
Glad you asked!
Currently–and this may change in the future since I’m considering changing Sarah’s timeline in order to include interactions with @that-kid-from-vault-101–adult Sarah runs with a group of rebels who call themselves the Vagabonds or “Vs”. Like their name suggests, they roam from town to town scavenging what they can and rarely stay in one place for too long except during colder months when it would be too risky for them to travel.
The Vagabonds don’t actively prey on other survivors like Hunters do, not unless given a reason. They’re more likely to attack if threatened. If another group has something they need (i.e. food, medicine, etc.) then they’re more likely to attempt to form an alliance or work out a trade. That sort of situation may only get bloody if they’re refused and the need for supplies is very desperate.
In that sense, I think that the Vagabonds are probably even less hostile than Harley’s survivors. Harley’s gang differed from Hunters only in that they were more organized and wouldn’t always kill the people they captured. If they could, they preferred to convert their captives to their cause and would almost always spare children in order to train them into soldiers. They would, however, actively hunt down other survivors for their supplies and were known for raiding other camps. The Vagabonds don’t do that. They teach children the basics of fighting, but don’t make use of child soldiers and camp raids only happen as last resorts.
That’s a bit of a long winded way to say that no, adult Sarah is not a Hunter. She rebels against FEDRA and her ideals and morals are probably more aligned with the Fireflies if anything else.
Would you ship Van Pelt and Cho?
outofkeystrokes;
Nnn, prrrrroooobably not? I never shipped them in the show and, even though Grace likes Kimball as a friend, I think she might find his no-nonsense personality a little... stifling? Between Grace and Wayne, Grace tends to be more serious and Wayne helps her loosen up. She likes that. I don’t think Grace and Kimball would be able to compliment each other in the same way.
But if a Kimball Cho RP blog came along and wanted to try shipping with me, then I wouldn’t object. I don’t know if I would ship it, but I would be willing to give it a go and if we find there’s chemistry with our portrayals... Well. I guess I’d ship it.
Rigspelt is always going to be my automatic ship, but chemistry is always key with any ship, no matter how probable or improbable it initially feels.

28. Who is your character’s mate? How do they relate to him or her? How did they make their choice?
Wayne Rigsby, from the beginning. If it hadn’t been for CBI rules complicating things, I think that Grace and Wayne might have continued dating and gotten married way sooner. I’m not sure how Craig would have played into the story if that had happened, but whatever. Maybe he would’ve gone for Teresa instead? Who knows. Anyway, this isn’t about Craig. Let’s talk about Wayne.
Grace and Wayne are very similar in a lot of ways. They’re both incredibly kind and compassionate people who aren’t afraid of bending the rules if that means catching a criminal. Though it is never addressed directly (*sighs at Heller for not clarifying a lot of things about Grace’s past*), I think it’s safe to assume that she has had her share of difficulties growing up. I don’t think she was abused by her parents like Wayne was by his father, but I believe they both can relate easily to each other. Something in their pasts has caused them to build walls around their hearts and, even though they seem like cheerful open books on the surface, they hide a lot of pain and anger. These negative emotions are often taken out on criminals. They’ve got a bit of a temper.
Additionally, I think they compliment each other. Wayne brings out Grace’s fun side and Grace brings out Wayne’s more serious, business side. Sometimes. They both keep each other grounded and know how to calm the other down. Plus, you can’t deny their magnetism. Those two spark like magnesium. Grace finds honesty in Wayne, something she obviously never really knew with Dan or Craig.
Aaand that brings us to how she made her choice. After one hell of a betrayal by her husband-to-be, Grace is forced to face reality. As the saying goes, she found out who her real friends were and the person who was her real friend, the one who loved her the most, was Wayne. It was always Wayne. Despite everything, he put Grace’s happiness before his own. When she was going to marry Craig, he told her why he couldn’t come to her wedding, but he didn’t fight. He didn’t get angry. He was hurt, but he supported her in whatever she decided to do. I think Grace finally saw that and realized that there was never anyone else for her but him, and vice versa.
40. How is their sense of humor? Do they have one?
I think Grace’s sense of humor is a quiet one rooted in sarcasm and snark. She isn’t goofy like Wayne and, except for one instance, she’s never taken morbid jokes lightly. She thinks graveyard humor is disrespectful and has always been one to stress the importance of honoring the dead. So… she does have a sense of humor, she just takes some jokes more thoughtfully than other people might.
46. Is your character tall? Short? What about their size? Weight? Posture? How do they feel about their physical body?
Standing at nearly 6ft, Grace is pretty tall for a woman, but that doesn’t keep her from wearing high-heels when she gets the opportunity. They make her feel pretty and, I think, give her sense of power. As for her weight and posture, she seems average. Grace takes pride in her appearance and seems fairly confident of her body. She wears form-fitting clothes, doesn’t slouch, and typically keeps her shoulders square. The only time she seems less confident in her body language is when being scolded by a superior or believes that she has made a mistake, not because she feels like she needs to hide something about her appearance. She’s confident in her physical body–or is very good at pretending to be–and knows that she can use her looks to her advantage in catching criminals.
What kind of person is Vanpelt attracted to?
outofkeystrokes;
I think I answered a similar question before a loooong time ago, but I don’t mind re-answering questions. c:
Grace has a history for falling for the bad guy. It’s always unintentional (or at least subconscious), but I definitely think she likes a certain sense of danger in her men. She also seems to lean toward men who are a bit on the more muscular side or, at least, aren’t terribly skinny. I imagine this, too, has something to do with liking “dangerous” men since stronger men look more intimidating… alternatively, maybe she’s looking for someone who can make her feel safe? Because, really, who doesn’t want to feel safe and protected?
Smooth-talkers, polite flirts, men who are in a similar line of work (ex. police, FBI, army, etc.), and brunettes are all types she gravitates to as well.
That isn’t to say that Grace can’t feel attracted to someone who isn’t muscular, smooth, or in some form of law enforcement, but... y’know. She does have a type and she’s probably going to fall faster for someone who fits most of these points.
I’m getting sleepy so I know there were other points that I wanted to make about this, but I’m having a bit of trouble gathering my thoughts. Please feel free to send more questions anytime you like, Nonnie!
