“Aren’t they both in lolita?”
“...The one in blue, then!”
There’s only so many allusions out there, it makes sense that a couple OCs would overlap... but when I compared these two for the first time, their similarity was downright jarring (even though it was pure coincidence, amazingly enough.) So how better to address this than a parody of Into the Spider-Verse’s postcredits scene?
...Maybe they’re sisters? Idk.
This comic, featuring Hattie Lazuli and Rettah Mazarin (the brainchild of @leemarte), with cameos from their respective creators, was drawn by @echollama! Thank you again, bruv!

Top 5 favorite RAIN characters to write for
This is slightly different to my top five favourite characters overall, and again I’ll have to give them in no particular order:
Maylis can be fun to write; generally I love writing young characters because providing their lack of maturity/experience/education can be a challenge, but you more often than not get to write fun stuff for them.
Also, Lilli is pretty fun to write sometimes? I get that she’s an utter asshole but the ability to be an asshole to your own characters is amazing, and especially knowing where her behaviour stems from.
Gardner and Tahlia are kind of a package deal so I’m going to count them as one. I love writing how Tahlia is the outsider of the Braiths and Gardner has to balance his loyalty to Kamala and his love for his youngest sister.
It’s super interesting to get inside Kamala’s headspace and write her from the perspective that she thinks she’s completely justified and has absolutely no self doubt. Also the more nutty characters generally allow me to let loose and be more free with what I write, unlimited by certain restrictions of a character’s personality.
Fun!Robin is a lot more fun to write for than Angst!Robin, most recently the birthday party scene. Comedic stuff is always more fun to write, though.
