A bit belated as the playthrough got delayed while I was sick, but here is my second Rook, Alia. She was an all around Nice Gal TM, Mournwatcher, polite and very understanding, and a dedicated coffee and Lucanis lover.

She was the shortest I could make an elf, with decent curves and long flowing hair. Here she is next to Lucanis, a certified Short King.

All in all very nice, very sweet but I'm a console player and can only have 3 saves. I have finished the playthrough and bid her farewell as there can only be one mage save on this Xbox, and Meerak and Emmrich are still my fave

Was finally making progress on a methods chapter, having submitted paper edits to my supervisor. So naturally a colleague sends me another paper draft that I need to do the measurements for, no rush its been in the works for years and the external collaborator is asking when it will be done.

Guess I’ll put the chapter on the back-burner for the next few days.

Just need the prof to sign off on essay feedback so I can upload feedback and grades and finally be done (and focus on my own shitty writing rather than other people's).

Except for those with extensions but there's like one person it's fine.

Our weekly research group catch up meetings via Zoom go for an average of 5 minutes. It’s like ‘anyone have anything to raise?’ and maybe, just maybe one person has something (last week that someone was me, about needing to order resin). Mostly its blank looks and head shakes.

I have reached the point where I'm obsessively checking the status of a submitted paper.

The look on that poor Masters student's face when he realised that I (the sole person in the dept who actually does what he's writing about, and who is doing a PhD involving the topic) was in the Zoom meeting of their dissertation proposal talks.

But as I was actually using a lab computer since I was multitasking and imaging histology slides, and it had no video or microphone, he only had to deal with one softball question via chat from me.
